Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures
Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures include the Student Code of Conduct and procedures for dealing with breaches of the Student Code of Conduct.
Student Code of Conduct
On and off campus and during vacation you are a Sheffield Hallam Student. You contribute to a safe and supportive environment by following the Student Code of Conduct.
Student Anti-harassment Policy and Procedure
Any formal complaints against students are investigated by our Student Policy, Casework and Compliance team in accordance with the Student Anti-harassment Policy and Procedure.
Freedom of Speech Code of Practice
The University's Freedom of Speech Code of Practice has been developed to assist staff and students who are involved in the organisation of activities that have the potential to compromise the University’s commitment to freedom of speech within the law and/or the health and safety of staff, students and visitors to the University.
Complaints and Appeals
In line with our Student Complaints Policy and Procedure, we encourage you to raise any concerns you may have as quickly as possible with an appropriate person, for example, your module leader, academic adviser, student support adviser or Hallam Help.
If this does not resolve your concerns, you can initiate the complaints procedure by completing the online concerns form:
